As a pet toy manufacturer, PETURLY begins product development with a question: how will a pet interact with this toy?
What encourages a cat to chase? What makes a dog explore? Will the movement, structure or feedback give the pet a reason to engage again?
These questions guide our approach to pet toy design. We translate natural behaviours into specific product features, so that each design has a clear purpose.
Four instincts.
Four directions for design.
Our pet toy collection explores four areas of play: discovery, pursuit, shared interaction and chewing. Each asks different questions of a product’s structure and use.
Think & Discover
Searching for treats, moving sliders and trying different paths encourage active exploration. We consider whether the challenge is understandable, the reward accessible and the product practical to clean.
Hunt & Chase
Moving and hidden targets can invite cats to investigate. Changing movement patterns and hide-and-seek structures inform products such as hunting covers and electronic chase toys.
Interact & Bond
A toy can give people and pets something to do together. We consider how easily the play is understood, how the owner controls it and how both can participate.
Chew & Calm
Chewing products require careful choices about size, structure and material. We assess those choices against the intended pet and use, rather than treating one design as suitable for every dog.

Making an idea tangible.
An idea must eventually become a structure, a material specification and a manufacturing process.
Dongguan Haohong Plastic & Hardware Co., Ltd., the manufacturing company behind PETURLY, was established in 2007. Its manufacturing foundation supports the development of our pet toy range.
Our work connects product development with tooling, injection moulding, silicone processing, assembly and quality inspection. Alongside appearance and play features, we consider how a product is assembled, cleaned and consistently produced.

Sampling makes design decisions easier to review. A physical sample allows us and the buyer to discuss structure, materials, movement and usage details before proceeding to production.
Built around your product brief.
For a brand or wholesale buyer, a product needs more than an appealing appearance. Buyers also need to understand its intended user, points of difference and production requirements.
In OEM and ODM projects, we work from those requirements towards a practical development brief. This may involve colour, branding and packaging changes to an existing product, or the development of a new structure and tooling.
Clear product information helps buyers plan their range. Manufacturing specifications and delivery conditions should be discussed alongside the design, so that expectations are established early.
What would you like to develop?
If you are planning a pet toy range or exploring a new product idea, share your target market, intended use and customisation needs with PETURLY.
Those details are the starting point for a useful product development conversation with a pet toy manufacturer.
